Sailor & adventurer Lisa Blair intends to become the first woman and only the 3rd in history, to circumnavigate Antarctica solo and unassisted. The circumnavigation is expected to take 3 months and does not permit land stops, personal contact with another person, or assistance of any kind.
We speak to Lisa live from the Antarctic Ocean. In the next day or so Lisa will sail around the perilous Cape Horn, renowned as the most dangerous and treacherous waters in the world. In this show we discuss this risk taking and record breaking journey as it unfolds and discover how this amazing lady faces up to the fear of waters that have taken the lives of so many sailors.
