WHAT IS ROCKTOBER?
Rocktober is by far the biggest month of the year for The Mojo Radio Show! It's all about great guests, great music, special features and more combining to create some of the biggest shows on our calendar. Rocktober traditionally was a time when rock radio stations around the world disregarded their normal scheduled format and produced 31 days full of acoustic sets, live gigs, swag, comedy, movie highlights, great music, special guests, and whatever else the programming and promotions team could create to make it just one big kick-arse month.
As the corporate world has done to so many great creative ideas, it inevitably killed Rocktober. However, the Mojo Radio Show is now bringing it back in all it's glory. Over the last four years The Mojo Radio Show has resurrected Rocktober - it’s our biggest month of the year and one that goes down as an annual highlight in the podcast history books… well ours at least!

As promised, we have asked cartoonist and illustrator Guy Downes to create a massive poster for your wall highlighting some of the 'gold' dropped by guests on the show and we think he's done a brilliant job!
Cartoons can cut through a thousand bullet points and grab attention, spark fresh thinking or simply put a smile on your face, and that’s what we have endeavoured to do by capturing the 'gold' and matching it with clever illustrations by Guy. Download it for yourself and email to your friends - it’s free, it’s a gift from all of us at the show. The more people that share in the 'gold' and the wonderful drawings of Guy Downes, the more we get our own Mojo working and help others to experience the same!

Quite often on the show we ask our guests to share their 'go-to' song that they play to get their Mojo working. We’ve had numerous requests to create a song list of this Mojo gold. Robbo has collated some of the great songs suggested by our guests and he has also done a whip around the studio to ask our crew which songs they go to to get their Mojo working. Check it out, rock out, and if this list doesn’t get your Mojo working, then tell us what songs you think are missing and we'll update it!!
